Rick and I had a wonderful time staying with Dallas and Jessica over this past week. They are just the cutest couple and we love them so much! They were so generous letting us stay with them considering they had only been married 2 weeks. We really did have our time share booked in SLC but they wanted us to stay with them. We had a great time shopping, watching conference, playing tennis, walking to the Draper Temple and Dallas saving us from the rain, helping get their condo put together, all the guys going to Ruth Chris before the Priesthood session, then the girls going to dinner at "Trio" then meeting up with the guys @ Market Street Grill for dessert, and having Sunday dinner at the Zurcher's. Thank You Dallas and Jessica

HIDDEN FALLS PARK
Friday night we decided we needed a break from the week so decided to go to the movies. We saw "Ressurection of a Champ" and then as if that wasn't enough we went and saw "Rush Hour 3" . Can you believe it I stayed awake through 2 movies. I laughed so hard through Rush Hour. Saturday morning we decided to take a drive to Auburn and go on a bike ride to Hidden Falls. Well what a bike ride it was!! We never did see the falls but thats O.K. we had so much fun laughing at each other, me getting bummed because I'm getting my new Nike Air tennis shoes dirty, and just trying to stay on the narrow dusty trails. It was a pretty hard ride, I guess if we had stayed on the right trails it wouldn't have been bad. Anyway, we enjoyed being together and getting exercise at the same time.
Notice how cute Dad looks in his helmet. I can't be bothered!!

California State Fair Opening Day
We took Carysn to the State Fair and had the best time. I think we walked Carsyn's little legs off. She started getting blisters with her tennies on, luckily she brought her rainbow sandals. She loved eating everything we would buy her. She had Hot Dog on a stick, Icee, Ribs, Corn on the Cob, Dark Chocolate covered Rice Krispie Treat, Cotton Candy, Diet Coke, and Candy Apple. Needless to say she needed some Pepto Bismo when we got home. The only rides she wanted to go on was the Monorail and the Ferris Wheel. Thanks for the fun time Carsyn!!

Bike Ride
We decided to take a bike ride from Negro Bar all the way to Nimbus Dam. It is so pretty along the bike trail. We came around one of the bends and there was the Sacramento Temple spires, it was just breathtaking. (See picture below) Also check out the sailboat. We rode a total of 9 miles. We thought that was a pretty good ride since we haven't done it in a while. We're trying to lose a few pounds before Jessica and Dallas' wedding.
