GO KENDAL
We had such a fun enjoyable time attending the Christmas Galena Performance that Kendal was in. (We even got Grandpa Kinney to come. Grandma loves coming every year.) Kendal is such a little doll and did such an amazing job, even with her solo part. I know how much time is involved being part of this group but know she will never regret putting so much time into something that is so worthwhile. Each year I see such an improvement. She is quite the dancer, singer and performer. It is such a wonderful group of good kids. I want her to know how much I love her and how proud of her I am. Monday, December 1, 2008

FUN DAY DOWN "MEMORY LANE"
Today Dad and I went to the Bay Area to pick up a BBQ for the house in Monte Claire. We decided we were so close to Hayward we would go check it out since we haven't been there in a long time. We started out by having lunch at one of Dad's favorite hamburger spots, Val's Hamburgers, and dinner, or maybe it was a second lunch at Casper's Hot Dog's. Dad said he couldn't leave Hayward without eating a Casper's hotdog. The minute he took his first bite of his hamburger he said "Wow! this is just how I remember them." He and Grandpa Doug use to go there all of the time. He also said that Grandpa did the electrical at this Casper's. The building and the sign on top are exactly how it was when they opened. We ended up driving by all of the houses we lived in, the schools we went to, and drove down many streets that brought both of us so many great memories. It was such a perfect day to get pictures of everthing. The only problem was I didn't have my camera. I guess this means we have to go again another day and repeat everything we did. It was such a fun day walking down memory lane. Boy, that comment really makes me sound old!
