AMTRAK TRAIN RIDE ON HALLOWEEN

Our cute little Crew and Hudson as "Superman and a Pirate"
Cute "Dannels" family

Rick enjoying Olivera Street
Last minute Rick decided he wanted to ride the train from San Juan Capistrano to LA. On our way up the Dannels called and said they would meet us there. We tried to get into Nickel Diner for lunch but the wait was too long, although Jenny soon found out what they were famous for. Glazed, bacon covered donuts. I have to admit they were pretty good and fattening. We ended up on Oliveria Street and had a nice Mexican lunch at Golandrinos. We drove up to Pasadena where they showed us where Father of the Bride was filmed and then went Trick Or Treating with them. Crew was so cute and fun while Hudson was happy just sitting in the stroller sucking on a sucker. They took us back to the train station at 9:30 only to find out we were taking the bus back. Oh well... Why didn't they tell us they would be working on the tracks? We had a great day with the kids.

Today was a very FUN day! I met Wyatt at The Spectrum to pick up the boys for the day and to spend the night. They were getting ready for their Halloween Party. We headed to the Beach House then we all decided to take take the kids to the San Juan Capistrano Pumpkin Patch/Petting Zoo. All of the kids were going to Jenny and Wyatt's party so I was lucky enough to get to babysit 8 of the 16 grandkids. We barbequed hot dogs, played at the park, read stories, watched movies, played Old Maid and even had cake and ice-cream. Luke told his Mommy "And it wasn't even anyone's birthday". WOW!! It was very busy but so fun! I love my grandkids and love being with them. They ALL are the cutest!! I guess you could call me "Octo Mimi".

Lyla's Blessing Day

It was such a special day for most of us to be together for Lyla's blessing. Jevin's brother's Ryan and Kelly and their families were also there. We had a nice luncheon at the park after church, where we had great food and fun races. We love sweet little Lyla. *It was such a bright sunny day that we were all having a hard time not squinting.

Visit with the Zurchers and Conference Time

We watched the Sunday morning session of conference in the Visitors Center then went to the Lion House for a yummy lunch. Snapped this quick picture of us. It reminded us of when Dallas and Jessica were married. We had a great time staying at the Kimball and with Dallas and Jessica. They are the cutest, sweetest little family. Thanks for always making us feel so welcome! We already miss you.
