ROAD TRIP AFTER NEIKA & DAVID'S WEDDING

We decided after the wedding at Silver Lake we would take advantage of the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. I bet you already knew we didn't really have a plan so just started driving. That's the way Rick works but I will tell you we always end up having such a fun time. We found a room in Minden Nevada. We were up bright and early on Saturday so off we went. We drove up Hwy 395, 4 and 89 and saw the most beautiful county side. These are a few of the towns and lakes we drove through or saw: Topaz Lake, Mosquito Lake, Lake Alpine, Bear Valley, Calaveras Big Trees State Park, Murphy's, Angels Camp, San Andreas, and Jackson.

31 years ago Don and Teri (Neika's parents) were married here. Can you spot Rick Jr. and Lisa who were in their wedding? Teri had their wedding albums out and I couldn't resist taking a picture of this one, it is priceless! Grandpa Doug with some of his grandkids.

I had the fun pleasure of driving Cole and his friend Steven back to Provo for EFY. We had a GREAT road trip. So proud of Cole, he is such a good boy. This picture was taken when Jessica and I dropped the boys off in front of their dorm room.

HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY & 8TH GRADE GRADUATION
